the 2017 world robot congress, hosted by beijing municipal people's government, ministry of industry and information technology and china association for science and technology, was held on august 23 at beijing yicheng international convention and exhibition center. xin guobin, vice minister of ministry of industry and information technology, attended the forum and made the keynote speech report.
xin guobin pointed out that as the new generation of information and communication technologies such as internet of things, cloud computing and artificial intelligence accelerate the integration with manufacturing industry, the development of digitization, networking and intelligence will bring new spring, robot and human production to the robot industry life is also more dense not points. the robot has become a rapidly growing new industry, is an important breakthrough to boost the real economy and the focus of the strategic layout of major countries. at the same time, the development of the global robot industry is still confronted with the "double challenge" of the bottleneck of technology and potential ethical morals. the deep integration of robotics and artificial intelligence still needs to be continued. robots are likely to trigger the reshaping of laws, regulations and ethics.
xin guobin stressed that china's robot development is facing major historical opportunities, "made in china 2025" clearly the robot as a key area for development. in recent years, the ministry of industry and information technology has released the "robot industry development plan (2016-2020)" and other policies to promote the rapid healthy and sustainable development of the robot industry and actively build a global robotics and industrial ecosystem. rapid expansion of industrial scale; breakthroughs in r & d of key technologies and components; continuous expansion of diversified application scenarios; gradual formation of distinctive regional industrial clusters; and good opportunities in market potential, open cooperation and intelligence.
xin guobin said that the equipment manufacturing industry is the pillar industry of the national economy, the top priority for building a powerful nation, and the main battlefield for supply-side structural reform and technological innovation.
as the key supporting equipment of advanced manufacturing industry, robotics research and development and industrial application are important marks to measure the level of scientific and technological innovation and high-end manufacturing in a country. to promote the development of robot industry to "eye-catching mind" to further define the orientation and direction of the development of the robot. to "keep fit" to further enhance the robot's ability and level of development. to "solid peiyuan" to further improve the basis for the development of the robot and the environment.
